Calling all APICS CPIMs and CSCPs
As a APICS CPIM or CSCP, you may or may not know that you have to maintain your certification. To ensure that all professionals with this highly acclaimed certification stay current in their knowledge of the environment, APICS has a maintenance program that helps to maintain the status of the CPIM. 5 years after certification and thereafter every 5 years, CPIMs are required to submit a record of their activities for the previous 5 years that support the APICS Body of Knowledge and show that their certification should remain current. These activities include attending relevant conferences, studying, presenting or attending classes in the subject field, and serving on committees and Boards of relevant bodies. The good news is that APICS is giving all CPIMs who have not maintained, until the end of 2008 to do so, so do not delay. Please contact the SAPICS office if you have any further questions. |
