South African FMCG brand requires the skill set of a Millwright for one of their key manufacturing plants. The group has grown from strength to strength and offers stability and a good working environment. The role will report directly to the Maintenance Manager

Duties:

• Install and repair production machinery
• Repairing and replacement of machine parts
• Reading and implementing instruction on assembling machinery
• Inspecting assets for sign of damage
• Ensuring lean operations

Requirements:

• N4
• Trade tested Millwright advantageous
• 5 to 10 years’ experience as a Millwright
• FMCG/Food industry experience
• Knowledge of boilers and air compressors
• Good welding, hydraulics, and mechanical skills
• Ability to read machine blue prints
• Must be able to work unsupervised and in shifts
