SAPICS wishes to advise that SAQA has changed the policy and criteria for a professional body as well as the registration of a professional designation. These changes were announced on the 31st of January 2023. As a result of this change, the SAPICS Board has made the decision to put any new and current professional designation applications and assessments on hold for the time being until it has assessed the current processes and policies to ensure that SAPICS takes the necessary action to adhere to these changes.  As soon as these have been confirmed, SAPICS will issue a communique on the next steps.  SAPICS apologises for the inconvenience at this time.
